We have been instructed by The bank of Nova Scotia Trust Company, acting as
powers of attorney, to sell the contents and Real Estate for Mrs. A. Machala,
situated at 194 March St. in the town of Frankford Ont. (north of Trenton Ont.
off 401on the Batawa/Frankford Rd.) turn left on March St. and proceed
approximately 1 ½ miles to auction site. Mrs. Machala has moved to a retirement
home. The contents will be auctioned unreserved beginning at 10 AM and the Real
Estate will be offered, subject to a minimum acceptable bid at 1 PM on sale
day.
Consisting of: a selection of household furnishings to include two three
piece bedroom suites, a Regency style sofa and chair dating from the 20th
century, a Duncan Phyfe table, walnut china cabinet, walnut curio cabinet, two
Victorian side chairs, wooden kitchen table and chairs, an Edwardian side
board, sectional couch, carved oriental chests, cabinets and tables, etc.,
dishes in china and glass including some antique examples to include a Limoges
bowl, a selection of quality silver plate from the turn of the last century and
modern examples, Hummel figurines, Moorcroft milk pitcher, coal oil lamps,
crocks, etc., paintings, prints, frames, a mall quantity of hard cover books,
costume jewelry, household linens, plus many more items too numerous to list.
The Real Estate: An older three-bedroom bungalow with attached garage
situated on approximately 3 acres of land with about two thirds landscaped and
the balance treed. The property is fenced on one side and framed on the other
by a hedge and a row of mature pine trees running to the back of the property,
in addition, mature pine trees have been spotted through out the property. The
property backs on a small creek that leads to another feeding the Trent River
and a path has been maintained leading to the creek. Other features of the
property include a paved driveway, an established rock garden and room at the
back of the groomed portion of the property for a vegetable garden if you so
choose.

Terms on the Real Estate are 10% of the purchase price down on sale day and
the balance on closing within a period of 30 days.
Terms for the contents are cash, cheque with two forms of
ID, Visa, MasterCard or Interac.
