Antique and Modern Auction Sale

We have been asked by Herman and Mary Lasher to sell the contents of their farm home by unreserved auction. The home situated at 815 Little Creek Rd. (south of Napanee) has been in Mrs. Lashers family since 1903 and many of the early family furnishings will be included in the sale. The auction will be sold on site under tent for the comfort of our customers.

Directions: Hwy. 401 or Hwy. 2 to Napanee Ontario, south on Centre St. through
town, over the Napanee river, continue south on Centre past the Lions Club
hall, the Napanee Golf and Country Club and proceed another 3 Km to Little
Creek Rd., left or east on Little Creek, under the rail road overpass, the Lasher
house is the first house on the left after the overpass.

in this auction sale will be a selection of turn of the last century oak
furnishings in original varnish finish to include an oak dining room table with
6 matching chairs and a high back buffet in original varnish finish, an
exceptional oak side by side in original varnish, a round oak dining table with
a low back buffet, a small pine harvest table, a set of four matching press
back chairs, an antique pump organ, player piano (the player portion is in need
of repair) but it still functions as a piano, pine storage cupboard in the
rough, oak occasional tables, pine blanket chest, several trunks including a
domed top example, washstands, a serpentine front oak chest of drawers in
varnish, an antique Victorian sofa and a walnut upholstered Victorian rocker,
an Edwardian rocker with a built-in foot stool, a child’s twig chair, wicker
baby carriage, wicker fern stand, French Provincial sofa, table and floor lamps
including a wood based floor lamp, assorted antique and modern dishes including
a coca set with gold trim, a partial set of dishes, depression glass, water
goblets, cups and saucers, etc., oak mantle clock, antique picture frames,
prints, coal oil lamps, at least two rare threadless insulators, cast iron sad
irons, arrow back chair, an exceptional five step ladder back rocker in
original finish, antique treadle sewing machine, sewing supplies, braided rugs,
drop leaf table, a selection of antique and collectible toys and books to
include two composition dolls, a tin windup toy train, other train parts, a
quantity of vintage clothing, household linens, etc., in addition to the
household contents we will offer a selection of farm related machinery to
include an older model Ford 600 in running order with a front end loader, 3 yr.
old brush hog, a snow blower attachment and a five foot scraper blade, yard
trailer, 3 ft. lawn roller, garden tools, hand cart, fencing wire, barbed wire,
a large quantity of used steel fence posts, old harness, sap pan, sap pails and
spiles, hay hooks, antique fan mill, two furrow plough, turnip slicer, etc., a
1988 Ford Ranger to be sold as is, a Lincoln AC/DC arc welder, shopvac, a small
quantity of new plumbing parts and tools, plus many more items too numerous to list.
