Estate Auction Sale

at 10AM
Sale Directions: Hwy. 2 or 401 to Odessa Ont. (10 miles west
of Kingston on Hwy. 2 or 401), turn south off Hwy. 2 at the Royal Bank and
proceed one block to the auction site.
We
have been asked by the executors of the estate of Dr. Johnson a retired Optometrist, late of the city of Oshawa
Ontario, to sell the partial contents of his residence by unreserved public
auction. In addition we will be offering the partial contents of two local
Kingston estates.
Features
of this auction will be a collection of over 50 antique china shaving mugs,
Beswick animal figures, antique coal oil lamps, a quantity of collectible
cigarette cards of the early twentieth century, Vintage optometrist instruments
and a display case of vintage eye glass lenses, vintage eye glasses, antique
duck decoy, a quantity of vintage fishing tackle to include rods, reels and
flies, Dr. Johnson was an accomplished and prolific artist throughout most of
his life and we will be offering examples of his work spanning a period of 60
plus years in charcoal, oil and watercolour, a selection of antique table lamps
with green cased glass shades and some new replacement cased glass shades, a
large set of Denby pottery table wares C.1970, a quantity of hard cover
collectible books, prints, and frames, furniture will include two sofas,
antique washstand, a Lazy Boy reclining wing chair used less than three months,
occasional tables, beds, chests of drawers, etc., we will also offer a sail
board complete, a Zodiac with a 3 ½ HP Mercury outboard motor, plus many more
items too numerous to list.

There will not be a buyer’s premium on this sale.
