We have been asked by Bob and Carolyn Wilson of
SIGNIFICANT COLLECTIONS within the collection will
include perfumes, inkwells, dresser boxes, biscuit barrels, butter pats, Moser,
Bohemian glass, pearl Satin Glass, huge assortment Cranberry glass and large
collection of the very best china and porcelain.
A FEW HIGHLIGHTS will include an outstanding burled
tea cady from the early Victorian era, a Davenport c1880 21" turkey
platter with a pair of pedestal servers, approx. 60 pieces Royal Worcester
dating from the 1880’s to include a spectacular lidded urn with owl in flight,
lions head milk pitcher, dresser set, several outstanding vases etc., a superb
collection of over 60 pieces of Doulton Burslem to include several vases in
"Slaters" pattern, platters, pitchers, candlesticks, demitasses,
raised decorated plates, nut dishes, biscuit barrels, jam pots and several
wonderful miniature vases.
Additional porcelain/china to include several examples
of Spode 1847, Derby Repousse, Coalport c1881, a quantity of KPM, Minton HP
scenes (1866), a quantity Royal Crown Derby, Limoges, Dresden, Meissen, RS
Prussia, Nippon, RS Germany, Wedgewood, early Capo-dimonte, Royal Doulton,
Doulton Lambeth, Doulton Flambe, a large quantity of early and rare cups and
saucers a collection 150 interesting and unusual butter pats etc.
Cranberry is well represented in the collection with
over 150 pieces (many examples by Thomas Webb) to include salts, hanging
baskets, sterling mustard pots, an outstanding ladies pocket watch stand,
boxes, vases, perfumes, decanters, condiments, tumblers and hard to find pieces
all enameled and decorated, plus another (approx 60) pieces of the very finest
Moser with many signed examples, dating from 1880’s and superbly decorated, an
impressive display of approximately 75 dresser boxes in all shapes and sizes in
cranberry, blue, green, ruby, Wavecrest, etc....all highly decorated.
Fine and rare biscuit barrels and mustard pots to
include Burmese, Peloton, Thomas Webb, Wedgwood, Doulton Burslem, Nailsea,
Cranberry, Monroe (Wavecrest), Mettlach, Satin Glass, etc.
The Art Nouveau period is well represented in glass
with Tiffany to include set of 6 salts, open salts, punch cups, exposition bowl,
etc., Steuben with 2 silver overlay vases, blue aurene bowl, 8" vase etc.,
Loetz with a 9" bowl in peacock feather, 6" vase, pair inkwells, a 5
inch Galle vase c1880, a Devez 10" vase and an outstanding 10" Cameo
Glass vase plus many other examples.
